📄 Essential Documents (Must Have)

  • Valid passport (6+ months validity recommended)
  • CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies)
    Get from your university after accepting offer
  • TB test certificate from approved clinic
    Valid for 6 months from X-ray date
  • Bank statements showing 28-day fund holding
    Must end within 31 days of application

  • POF amount calculated (use our calculator)
    Living costs + tuition balance
  • Funds deposited in regulated bank account
    No fintech apps - use traditional banks
  • 28-day holding period complete
  • Birth certificate (if using parent's funds)
    Must show parents' names
  • Consent letter from sponsor (if applicable)

🎓 Academic Documents

  • Degree certificate / diploma
  • Academic transcripts
  • WAEC/NECO results
  • English test results (IELTS/TOEFL)
    May not be needed if exemption applies
  • NYSC certificate or exemption letter

🚀 Application Steps

  • Create UKVI account at gov.uk
  • Complete online application
  • Pay visa fee (£524)
  • Pay healthcare surcharge (IHS)
  • Book biometrics appointment
  • Upload all supporting documents
  • Attend biometrics appointment

✔ After Approval

  • Link eVisa in UKVI account
  • Generate share code
  • Book flights
  • Arrange UK accommodation
  • Notify university of arrival date
